Wedding Information

We’d like to personally thank you for your inquiry into our specialized service.  What we do is very important to us and we understand that your day is very important and special to you.  Over the years working in this industry and profession, you begin to make a quick assessment as to what works and what does not.  One of the most important features of your reception is the communication between the professionals you are working with and your perception of your wedding day.  There are no set rules as to how your reception day should flow.  As professionals we are here to guide you and offer assistance in your planning and sharing of ideas.

The Santana Entertainment Group are professionals in this industry that have many years of experience.  My associates and I have grown to be respected and acknowledged as being “simply the best” at what they do.  It’s no wonder wedding professionals across the Baltimore metropolitan area refer us time and time again.  This service is owned and operated by a professional disc jockey with 22 years experience in all aspects of the  entertainment industry.  We do not work with a sales staff.  When you inquire with Santana Entertainment, you will be speaking directly with a professional who has hands on experience as an entertainer.

These venues have the working first-hand knowledge of many of the areas other entertainment services.  To be referred by them is nothing short of an honor.  Word-of-mouth is our best advertising tool.  This is why our organization limits itself to prevent overbooking.  If the date is full for my associates and myself, I will gladly offer recommendations for other services and professionals as to their strengths and abilities.  One-on-one communication is priceless, and that is why we request a meeting with yourself after you have had a chance to preview our information.  Your comfort level is a key concern, and this gives us the opportunity to introduce ourselves and to further review in greater detail your special day.

One of the things that is very important, and that we have been told by our clientele, is the fact that when you call the business, you need to hear a voice.  No one is more aware of that than me.  Sometimes I am called into the field during the day to accommodate a client meeting or performing an event.  When I am not in the office, my cell phone is always available to you.

Wedding receptions should begin in an elegant and tasteful manner and evolve into a fun-filled, upbeat celebration that is most memorable for you and your guests.  Our clients leave their receptions with guests commenting, this is one of the best receptions I’ve ever attended!  Our goal is to make sure the bride and groom are able to relax and enjoy their guests while we take care of the details.

We are there to provide excellent music programming, act as your Master of Ceremony, and assist in the flow of your wedding reception.  We work very much as a team with you, your photographer, Videographer, caterer, and the venue keeping the communication open during your event to be sure we are all on the same page prior to making any announcements to your guests.  For example, the DJ would never announce your cake cutting without first making sure the bride and groom are ready and that the photographer and caterer are ready to assist you, and of course, to be sure the parents are aware so they do not miss your event.  Once all the key people have been informed, then we will make the announcement letting your guests know as well.  This keeps your reception flowing smoothly, and no one misses that one opportunity to view a special dance or event taking place at that moment.  There is only one first dance, one cake cutting, one parents dance, and we do not want your guests to miss an important event taking place on your special day.

We do meet with every bride and groom, and you would meet with the actual DJ who would perform at your reception.  We want you to feel confident and  comfortable with your disc jockey.  We help you with ideas during the meeting to help enhance your reception.  Everything we do is to bring focus to the bride and groom.  We do not try to be the show at your reception.  Although we are very personable on the microphone, we know what to say, and most importantly, we know what not to say.

Upon meeting with your DJ, we will assist you with ideas on great music programming as well.  This is key to a successful wedding reception.  No two wedding receptions are the same.  We take the time to find out about you, and the dynamics of your group, so we can assist you in selecting the right music that fits with your personality and style.

We provide recent references upon request, and always receive outstanding reviews from our clients.  Our goal is to provide you with a stress-free day so you can relax, have a great time, and enjoy your guests!

Santana Entertainment does not advertise our services.  Most of our bookings come from referrals and word-of-mouth.

Thank you for your consideration, and we look forward to hearing from you.
